Just a Human

Today was one of those days when I remembered that I am human. I love blueberries. It is my very favorite snack. I was enjoying a handful of blueberries when my washing machine let out a loud sound signaling it was time to change cycles and to add the fabric softener. I raced to the laundry room and gently lifted the lid of the washing machine, with my hand that was holding the blueberries, allowing my free hand the ability to add the softener in time for its cycle. Suddenly the lid dropped and I tried to catch it, in doing so the entire handful of blueberries dropped into the machine which was now churning with hot water, clothes…
